To calculate the BP requirement:
- Enter the desired PSI figure, depending on airframe diameter, 10 to 18 PSI is typical
- Enter the airframe diameter in inches
- Enter the airframe length in inches (make sure you account for nose cone shoulders, bulkheads, etc.)
- Optional: Enter the volume of the recovery system components in cubic inches
- Leave the Grams BP field blank
